What Was Your Favorite Show ?

What was your favorite children's show when you were child? When I was a little boy I watched the "Friendly Giant" ( I lived in Michigan and I believe this show was aired out of Canada). I also watched Sesame Street, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, The Electric Company, The Muppet Show, Romper Room, The Bugs Bunny and Road Runner Show (although I never did like the Road Runner), Reading Rainbow and Gilligan's Island. Did any of you watch any of these shows. Perhaps this discussion will bring back memories for some of you. :-)

Yes Friendly Giant was out of Canada. I also watched Mr. Dress Up who was also Canadian. I loved Spiderman and the Bugs Bunny and Road Runner show. Also the Brandy Bunch, Littlest Hobo, The Wonderful World of Disney and The Waltons.

I don't remember Mr. Dress Up, though the name is familiar to me. I also loved Spiderman. I liked the Brady Bunch too and I would watch the Wonderful World of Disney many time. I was never a real big fan of the Waltons, but my sister loved that show.

I was just talking about this tonight. I think my favorite show was the original Batman series with Adam West. You have to be of a certain age to remember that!

I used to watch that ever now and then. I liked how they would put it captions during the fighting.."pow", "kaboom" and "bam!". I remember someone once saying that batman was the most resourceful super hero. No matter how bad the situation was he always to think of something at the last minute that would save the day and finish off the bad guy.

I never heard of the friendly giant and I did not watch the reading rainbow. I did watch all of the others you mentioned. My favorite being the electric company. And the cartoons.. the road runner was awesome! Bugs was better. they are both smart. But I also watched ZOOM and a few other cartoon. I think there was a Superfriends- it had Spiderman, and a few others.

I used to watch cartoons growing up. My favorites were The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Dexter's Laboratory, Scooby Doo, and The Muppet Babies.

We didn't have TV when I was a child (I'm that old!). I enjoyed Sesame Street and Play School which our boys used to watch.

A few of my favorite shows as a kid were The Big Comfy Couch, Out Of The Box, Rolie Polie Olie, Barney.
