Deleting responses and comments

We have the authority to delete responses and comments in our posts if they are offensive and hurting.
I try my best to put up with those slights but have done it a few times.
When would you decide to delete a response or a comment. Have you ever done it.

I don't think I have ever deleted someone's comment. But it would depend how bad it was.

I don't think I ever had. I don't remember getting a rude response. I remember getting rude comments plenty of times on other's posts but I either have fun with them and report them. I like to see Admin tackle them more. Correct way to put them in their place according to me.

Yes I did that with three that were gross totally gross and they were on another site actually not this one.
The cheek of it.
I mean I don´t go telling them what they should be doing so they can mind their own business.

I've never done it to someone else and never will but I have removed my comments from another persons discussions a couple of times.

@allknowing not so far and even if I did I wouldn't delete them I'd just ignore them.

Twice in 4 months is a huge record. For my 9 years I too may have deleted just about twice

I've deleted a few myself. Dont remember why. But i obviously had a reason otherwise I would never waste my time deleting them.

No I just let them ride, for the most part so everyone can see what a BUTT that person really is.
