I got that gig I posted about a while back. Working on that kept me away for a while and as soon as the project ended aunt Helen died. Needless to say, I was not getting much done online or getting any extra done outside of work and family. I have a Speedy Rewards card that has been laying in front of my monitor for ages just waiting for me to register it. Well, I finally registered the thing yesterday. The card is for the Speedway gas station and among the rewards you can get ten cents off per gallon of gas.
Now I can start earning money off gas and they also give away other merchandise as well. Drinks, foods, such as hotdogs and biscuits can also be earned. I am just interested in the gas.
It feels good to get it registered finally. Do you have any gas reward cards that you rely in for cheaper gas?

Good for you. Well I dont have any speed rewards card as such but I do have a payback card that I can redeem on various online sites like ebay, firstcry, etc.
It feels awesome when I get something for free using that card.

@DianneN you are very fortunate. I wish I lived near a grocery store that did that.

There are a few in town that we can utilize. One is using a store card to get money off at the pump, but you have to have a certain amount of purchases for it to accumulate. Another I have is one I use at the pump to accumulate points as well as from other stores. There is a gas station in town that gives you 5 cents off a gallon when paying cash too.

@rebelann1949 when my middle sister was working in the big city, she purchased a Sams Club card specifically for the gas rewards. It seems that their gas was always cheaper at Sams than the rest of the regular gas stations.

I've had and use a speedy rewards card each time I get gas and in the summer months when we stop in for a break in the day and get snacks or drinks. Ours doesn't offer cents off per gallon, but when we get enough points we can buy a card with our points for free gas. My husband has done that once, but I've not bothered yet. I lost one card and never bothered to re-register my new card with my name. I doubt it's a problem and it's probably too late to bother with it now as it's been several years at least.

@MarshaMusselman I know he used his quite often. Being single he never packed a lunch and Speedway was near his job site.

@Shellyann36 We do get free snacks or drinks after purchasing a certain number before hand. Those are nice except when I happen to misplace my coupon.

I cross the border to buy gas in the US, so much cheaper than here, I don't do it for every tank but its fun to do once in a while.

@Shellyann36 Our gas helps pay for our free medical in Canada. So does booze, cigs, and things that are highly taxed. Many try to buy it across the border but cigs and booze is taken away or taxed more at the border so I don't know any who does that now..in the olden days we would try to sneak it across the border With age comes wisdom...

@Shellyann36 As Vin and I are both pensioners and live in the country, we get a fuel card which has a credit of $500 on it. That is at least a help.

For me it's the piles of mycokerewards caps sitting on my desk waiting to be input. I wonder if what points I had in my account are even still there.
