Palm Sunday celebration

Yesterday, my church had a wonderful Palm Sunday celebration. It was raining so we couldn't walk all the way around the church in procession like we wanted to, but we were able to process from the parish hall under canopies most of the way. (The acolytes were carrying lighted candles and fortunately both flames made it all the way inside the church without the rain putting them out.) Then the whole congregation led by the acolytes, cross and choir entered singing "Hosanna!" It was a very joyful celebration. If you celebrate Palm Sunday, what did you do?

We do not have a procession on the Palm Sunday, but the blessing of the branches of palm that are later distributed to those assisting to the Mass.

Our friends went to the Palm Sunday mass and joined in a procession round the church too. Glad yours was so uplifting.
