Do you have an Easter Monday Tradition? As a child, Easter Monday was the day we kind of let loose - it was kite flying day. In the weeks leading up to Easter we would make our own colorful kites with the help of our parents. Then on Easter Monday we head to the sea side to fly our kites. There would be hundreds of kites in the air at once, some simple while others were elaborate.

IN some places in the UK we have egg races where eggs are rolled down a hill. The egg that reaches the bottom of the hill unbroken is the winner!

Kite flying at Easter is really big in the Caribbean. I remember Easter Monday picnics on the sea wall . Families would be there with picnic blankets and beach umbrellas - and hordes of teenagers would be there decked out in their most eye catching outfits.
