Go With The Flow

Today is one of those "go with the flow" kind of days for me. The kind of day where I relax and just let the days events guide what I accomplish.
I had a full day all planned out but you know how that goes. The best laid plans and all that stuff.
I was going to get up early and get a start on my writing. I also planned on going to the courthouse and getting some papers signed. The fact that we are having Easter dinner at our house also made me plan some time for deeper cleaning.
I slept late, had one of my neighbors drop in for coffee and a chat about 10 minutes after I got up, and as for the housecleaning, well, I am never eager to get into that.
So, here I am at almost 3PM finally able to get online for the first time. I haven't accomplished a thing that I was going to do.
I decided, who cares, I will just go with the flow and do what I feel like for the rest of the day. It's nice to be able to let go and just flow through my day.

Some days are like that. I spent some time sewing this morning...then off to visit my father and take him to run his errands....then lunch.....brought him home.....I went to get my groceries and now I'm home.

My day was pretty good and I was able to get a few things done that I've been putting off. Not as much time to spend here as I wanted but that's life. You said it....gotta just go with the flow

I babysat my niece yesterday so i had one of those days too. Sorry you didn't get alot accomplished that you wanted to though..Atleast you have til Sunday to get your cleaning done.

@HazySue yeah same here. I need to do some cleaning here at home as i been neglecting it because of work or babysitting. Hopefully this weekend I can get caught up on cleaning.

Sometimes, it's just best to go with the flow. My day just begun. But yesterday, I did have to do some training, but we also managed to do some laundry. Got most of it done. But otherwise, it was pretty relax. Hopefully today goes well. It'll be an interesting day.

Often it is better to just do what you did! The day will happen anyway, so might as well not get too excited about what we can't accomplish.

@PatZAnthony It does seem like the ratio of go with the flow days to accomplishment days is becoming more go with the flow and less accomplish it now days.
