Happy Dance Time

I just finished Freedom's Cry with a historical afterword. It has been a long work in progress. I'm estimating I started this project in the early 1990's. I'm very happy to finally come to the end of this life-long four book project.
Now the work of editing and revision begins as I set out to get this ready for publishing sometime this summer.
I am mentally exhausted and will definitely take some time off from it to wind down and get back in touch with all of you.
It's happy dance time and I am totally relieved this is finished and I am very happy with how it all turned out. There are a total of 55 chapters 498 pages and over 190K words. The last thing I need to do with the novel is get chapter titles for the last three chapters - not tonight.
It's time for bed. I will sleep like the dead and wake up hopefully without a headache with all the brain work I've been doing these last few weeks.
I will be back to interact as usual starting tomorrow/today as it is after midnight here.
Thank you for reading and encouraging me in this venture. I will let you know when this last book is available. Still lots ahead for this project, but for now, the story is finished.

@silvermist It would have been, but it didn't happen. I rarely get more than five hours of sleep. As tired as I was, I thought that would be one of those longer nights.

Thank you. I need to give my mind a rest for a few days before I plunge back into it. I know I'll probably expand on the word count as I get the descriptions taken care of and properly flesh out this book. I'm also certain there will be cutting away of the fat - unnecessary bits that don't move the book forward. So much to do yet. But it is all part of the process. In the end I'll have a wonderful work of art.

Of course! I just don't know which one it will be. I have 50+ titles, 15 now finished, three published, so it might be one of them to get ready for publishing, or I might work on another I have in the works to finish.

Yes it should. Time to flesh it out, add to and subtract from and make it a work of art. Thank you very much.

I just finished the book. I haven't had time for a synopsis. I've been trying to come up with the back cover copy, in my head as of right now, but I'll get it written out one day soon.
