I Just wanted to say hello to everyone and give a quick introduction. My name is Amethyst Diana Most people call me Amy or just D. I found this site by accident and thought I may give it a try. I wanted to start a blog but I do not have the confidence in myself to do such. I thought if I were to try this one of two things would happen at least. 1 I would enjoy this place so much that I will not leave. Or two I will eventually build up the confidence to move on and start my very own blog. I look forward to talking to you guys and discussing many topics. I have a lot of useless information built up in this brain of mine so who knows what this may lead to.

Hello. Welcome to myLot. I've been around for a while (well, I went and came back again). It's nice here. Being a fountain of useless information doesn't go to waste :)
I've got a blog of my own (well, I have several but only two are active now, I think). Like you, I wasn't very confident so I hope you gain what you want from here. Hopefully, you'll be able to stick around as well as work on your own blog.

@AmethystD85 I know exactly what you mean. My mum calls it a 'grasshopper mind'. Not knowing where to begin, getting distracted by other things, rambling about everything. Some people like that, others prefer to have some idea of what's going on! :D
As for whether anyone likes what you're writing, let me give you the best piece of advice about that: write for you. It doesn't matter if other people like it but if you like it, love it, give it passion, there will be others who like it too.

@pumpkinjam Thank you. I will take this advice and run with it. I generally have this type of mindset however when starting something new I seem to shy away.

Thank you. I have been playing around with the idea for about a year or so now. Its just one of those things that the what ifs way on my mind. You know like what if no one likes what I have to say, or what if I think im good at writing but the fact is i truly suck. You know things like that way on my mind. Then I have the obstacles of having so many things I want to write about or have the knowledge to write about that I either don't know where to start, what to start with, if i should just choose one thing and one thing only yada yada yada. I swear my mind is a rambling mess

To be honest even if I do eventually start a blog I most likely will stick around here just for the fun of it all. After all I would not be able to allow myself the opportunity to forget about you guys here.

Welcome! I find myLot much more fun than a blog, which is more like talking to myself. At myLot we can all talk about many things and get to know one another.

This is very true. Also unlike a blog I am able to post silly short discussions
