The name (Ross Butler) might not be one you know right away, but take one look at him and you will know who he is now. I'm sorry to see he is leaving Riverdale, but we now know 13 Reasons Why is renewed. Ross Butler was Reggie and the role is important on Riverdale.
Ross Butler plays Zach Dempsey on 13 Reasons Why.

Riverdale is a television show on CW on Thursday Night at 9:00 pm and has been renewed.

@chrissbergstrom I like the murder mystery part of Riverdale. Its great knowing the show was renewed because of online viewers, so networks are looking at all viewers to determine renewals and that is a good thing to me.

This actor is 26 years old and until this year I didn't know anything about him. My daughter told me he had a role on the Disney Channel and a few other roles. I was impressed with his little time on the screen and how well he did each role (Riverdale and 13 Reasons Why).

@Fishmomma What you see on Netflix in the United States is not what we see here. The programs are different, we pay a lot more to see a lot less.

No, but he has a contract for 13 Reasons Why. He wasn't on a lot on Riverdale this season, but he isn't available for Riverdale, as CW wants the character Reggie to be full time. There is no reason for him to sit and do nothing, so I expect 13 Reasons Why is renewed to be announced soon.

Riverdale was renewed for season 2 so he may still be on.

The network has already stated they are hiring another actor for the role on Riverdale, so am sure 13 Reasons Why is renewed.
