When life deals you lemons then make lemonade

As most of you know, I was off for a much needed break, as my life was spinning out of control. Things happen sometimes that cause problems, and it could have al been avoided, but none of it was really my fault.
I so wnjoy living, but when things happens, it makes it hard to want to live anymore. I have never wanted to end it all, and I am gad for that, but on the same hand, I didn't want to have to deal with all the problems that came up.
I won't go into what happened, but all I can say is, I don't wish anything bad on anyone. No one should have to dea with bad things, but such is life, and by dealing with them, makes me stronger for having done so.
I am glad that things have finally slowed down enough that I can come in here and enjoy myself again. Life is really what you make it though, and you have to take things as they come.
Thank the Lord that he has preserved my life through all this in spite of things going the way they have. I wil not take life for granted anymore.

Thank you. God has been there every step of the way, and I kniow he will continue as well. It hasn't alwaqys been easy, but I have never given up hope that that things will get better. I can't guarantee they will still that way, but at least they are better now, thank goodness.

We al need tio take a break from time to time, as life got in the way, and I just couldn't enjoy myself in here when I had it all to deal with. Thank goodness, I am doing much better now, and I hope to continue to get better.

You are so right. I could have curled myself under the balnket and fallen asleep and not do anything, but that wouldn't have solved anything, as the problems would still be there I have prayed and prayed, and God has answered my prayers, as always, and I will always put my faith and trust in him.

I am glad that you feel better about things. Being served with lemons is something all of us can expect at some time - and many times it is through no fault of ours - but we deal with it and try to survive. As your title says -- when life gives you lemons ,you make lemonade.

It hasn't always been easy, but I am getting through everything, and I am so happy about that too.Things can get so bad that it makes a person not want to be here to deal with it, but I am not like that, as I feel tht my life is worth something, as God put me here for a purpose. My purpose is to serve others and that is what I will continue to do as long a I am able to do so. Thank you for responding and have a great day.

My life has been horie lately, but thank God, he has been getting me through my trials, and I am so thankful for that too, as I don't wish them on anhyone. They are there to strengthen me, and I know tht I will be a better person for having gone through them.

@ShifaLk That is a good thing too. Our lives just seem to get off course sometimes, and it takes time to get them back where they need to be. I am glad that mine is where it needs to be now, so that I can take time to be in here and interactt with everyone.. I so did miss it, when I was absent, and now, i can have fun again, whih I have been sine I have been back.

Things are much better than they were, that is for sure. That is why I was gone for so long, as my life was a mess, and I needed to get it straightened out first. I did miss being here though, and now that I am back again, I am having the fun that I had before.

The Lord gets us through if we remember to turn to Him. He sure has helped me with what I've been dealing with since last year with Mom.

You are so right, as he has been there for me too. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have him in my life to guide me on the right path. I do praise Him though for the trials I am going through, as they are there to make me strong, for what is to come on the earth. I praise God everyday for Him.

@JudyEv I feel it is easier to cope now, that things are getting much better than they were. I am so glad too, as I certainly can't cope with them on my own, as I need God at all times to help me get through them. He has so far, and he will continue to do so, of that I hae no doubt.

My last two years have been extremely hard for me. I lost people and things I thought would have been with me for a much longer stretch. Everything in my life changed. But God remained constant and I've held on because I know there has to be a reason I'm still standing. I'm sure once all the grieving has ended, God will open another door. I'm glad you're finding your way through, as well. We're all in this together and can help one another the best we can.

I am so sorry that you are going through that, but it seems you are getting thrrough it okay, and like you said God has been there every step of the way. I find that when I try to do things on my own without God's help, I fail, which goes to show our great dependence on God for everything.
I am glad tht I am getting through mine as well, as I know that God will strenthen me in all of them.

@rosekiss My life has become something of a solo journey and without God, I'm sure I would have given up long ago. The people here have been wonderful to me through everything so this is where I come when I need a shoulder or a friend. It's amazing how God can put people in our lives!

Having went through alot of depression and anxiety i know what you are saying, never to the point of wanting to end it all but to the point you feel like you physically can't handle anymore stress. I am thankful you are here to god has a way of seeing us through. Glad to have you on myLot and look forward to your future posts.

@chrissbergstrom My trials are here to strenghtn me, and believe me they aren't easy to cope with, but Jesus is helping me cope with them. I praise God for everyone of them too, even though it is quite hard to do.

I am glad I am back too, even though it took way longer than I wanted it to be, ut I am here now, and I hope to stay. I didn't like the fact that my trials have been hard to bear, but God never does put more on us than we can hande, and for that I am glad, as I have been through enough .I do prise god for all of them though, as it makes me stronger.

You are right, as I am not one to just lie down and give up. Life is just to short to do that anyway. It is hard to cope with things at time, but I have managed to get through them, and I hope I can continue to do so.

Yea, me too, but if I do, I will face them head on and not cower in the corner and do nothing. I have kept my eyes on God and that has helped too, as I know he will continue to be with me in everything.
