Deal of the Day: Mother's Day Cards! Pick up a card yet?

It looks like many are purchasing their Mother's Day cards earlier than usually! I was at Walmart and the selection was quite low (or maybe not restocked yet?). So, I went next door to Dollar Tree and scored 2 cards for $1 which works perfectly - one for my mom and one for my fiancés mom! They also have $1 cards, but I thought these were cuter because they greeted from the both of us. The cards are pretty cute for the price - one has glitter on the orchards and the other one is textured. The back says the cards retail regularly $2.25 each. 
Dollar Tree is my go to spot for balloons, cards and plastic table cloths for parties!

@infatuatedbby Yes - I go to good ol' Dollar Tree for cards too! I know the cards are not going to be kept for long, so I don't really like to spend a whole lot on that. Plus "the gift" for the parents usually ends up to be going out to eat with them - and my sister and her husband too . . . we'd rather splurge for good food. I used to make hand made cards . . . not much time to do that anymore (actually I have the kids do that

Hehe yes! I picked up a simple one from Walmart, $6 bucks! My mom doesn't mind the card, in fact she'd prefer no card - she said no need to spend money on a card. I used to hand make them.
Do you go to Dollar tree for your card needs too?

Nothing wrong with saving money! I don't buy Mother's Day cards.. and haven't for years. Hopefully I will get a card this year. The one my oldest son got me last year actually brought tears to my eyes!

Yes! Nothing wrong with saving money at all. It's the thought that counts and I like to write a handwritten message inside. I hope your children get you a card :)

It was Mother´s Day here on May the First and I have no Mom to send a Card to but I love those Cards beautiful and a good deal in price as well.

I buy some cards at Dollar General but for special people I do like Hallmark.

We have dollar tree out back of our house and we always get cards there. Why pay $3.99 at the grocery store just for it to go in br he trash most times.

Lol I love and hate the dollar stores because everything is $1 so you go in thinking oh I'm going to just get a few things but as you're looking you find other things and by the time you make it to register you've spent way more than you planned
