My re-entrance into chatter

Its been a while since I have been here long enough to chat and rebuttal with everyone, but now that the hectic holiday has ended, I need a week or two to get back to normal before I can slip into my old routine. My holiday was fantastic - and thank you for asking . . . however I might not do all the stop-overs because I am not sure of how many are interested in hearing about the off-road and back tracks of South Africa . . . therefore I shall only stick to points of discussion that might interest people. Lighthouses were our purpose and we accomplished 9 out of the 10 we planned on visiting . . the 10th one which was the FIRST one to visit had a slight incident which i shall report about later. We also visited Sutherland and the great SALT Telescope which was very interesting; as well as the MeeRKAT "The South African MeerKAT radio telescope is a precursor to the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) telescope and will be integrated into the mid-frequency component of SKA Phase 1" which is like the one in Australia. Then I got to see two waterfalls drop into the sea as well as climb the 2nd highest Waterfall in the world. Then I got to meet a couple I had met on Bubblews - That was the highlight of my week - Tony and Terry. Plenty to write about - but just be patient, all once I am a little rested.
