the fishes look very familiar and though we deep fry we don't add the colour.

I don't know the reason but I usually see the colored when I buy them. When I made some homemade dilis I don't add color

Dark colored, I haven't seen a dark colored anchovies. Maybe the big ones

@averygirl72 Mostly we just have them on pizzas so maybe they have sauce or something on them to make them dark.

Never heard ,seen such spicy crunchy fish snacks , i don't think its available here. Think have to travel all the way to Philippines to get them

Just the other week I was eating sweet anchovies sold by the vendor roaming around in our village. I really love the taste of this fried sweet fish.
