Good morning.Happy Thursday. Some of you may know the New Hampshire is noted for being the granite state.Remember the old man of the mountain. This was granite. Though the man is not there any more for he collapsed many years ago. We have lot of granite here in our yard. Mike now and then like to built some sculpture.Just fooling around. I used to do this not and then. Have any one ever try to do some granite or stone sculpture? The photo is the latest.

No I have not, but I have always wanted to do something with metal, for some reason I am drawn to metal.

Nope, I never had any inclination to build anything with stone or granite. However, the sculpture Mike made is very interesting.

That's pretty nice! Our granite in the house is imported from Europe. I don't know why. Our kitchen island, counter tops, and my kitchen desk is all granite. Everything else that is stone is marble.

I have enough granite in my kitchen and master bath. We have a lot of stone on our property but it's not granite.

I haven't done any of this. I don't think I have much talent in that area but it would be fun to try.

Looks like something people build on the side of the trail while hiking so they can find their way back. Cool!
