~No Brakes-Could Have Been Much Worse!~

We went to church this evening and the brakes seemed worse than usual but my husband thought they would be okay until tomorrow. Not the case. My husband had to pull into a store, and coast until we got to his cousins house which is a block from church. Thank God we were almost there when the brakes were done completely.
We had been on the highway and we are SO grateful God kept us safe! The brakes had been getting bad but we didn't know they were that bad!
So...a friend came to take my husband to get new brakes and pads. The Lord definitely watched over us today and we are so grateful to be alive! Thank God the brakes didn't go out on that highway.
It stinks that the brakes are bad but at least they will be fixed soon and we are okay. =)

@Judyev Yeah we are grateful we are okay and grateful it happened close his cousins house so the kids and I didn't have to be stuck out in the heat while the brakes were changed.

So glad you're all okay! Your husband fixes cars and can do brakes?

@Courtlynn There isn't much my husband can't do to be honest. He works on cars, does remodeling, he does artwork, builds furniture, cooks, etc...

Brakes are something we really can't mess around with as it can be so dangerous when they go out

@chrissbergstrom Yeah money wasn't there to fix them until today which is when my husband planned on doing them. Thank God we are all okay and his friend bought them for us.

@workathomefan My husband can do most things but he does have a few disabilities from birth, only noticeable to people who truly know him. Anything is possible with God.
