May 05 , was the general rehearsal for all the jubilarians for our Alumni Homecoming . I went to the hotel where some of those from Manila and from abroad were staying, because a close batchmate told me to go at their room because she has some gifts for me. And we had a grand time catching up and laughing at the jokes of those with her in the room. We had a funny time choosing what we like as her gifts to us. Unluckily, her new shoes aren't of my size. And they were signature shoes. . But I got a Bvlgari perfume and lipsticks amongst others. From there , the group proceeded to eat lunch first at McDo, before proceeding to the school for the general rehearsal at 1:00 p.m. That night, we had our batchmates’ party. The band played the music from 70’s as we have requested. We invited some of our teachers from high school. There were bags and prizes that were raffled too. All danced when they played those danceable , popular songs at that time. Oh, what a nice time we had again. The songs and the dancing that we did made us feel like teenagers again. As you can see the party has a theme of Touch of Red for our dresses.

True. I had them all saved in my laptop and cellphone. This will happen after 5 years again. So, after our last activities last 8th, we were all teary eyed bidding each other goodbye.

Actually the first jubilarian is the silver which is 25th year after high school. Other terms followed which comes 5 years after that , then 5 years after next to that. We were the Ruby Jubilarians , meaning 40th year after HS. So our next one will be Sapphire - 45th , 5 years from now. Every year there is a batch for those jubilarians. It happens every year, the Alumni Homecoming, but being a jubilarian (for the batch) , comes only after 5 years. There are 7 jubilarians every year. Sapphire , Coral , Emerald , Ruby , Gold , Diamond and Silver .

Yes. When we meet those we haven't seen since high school graduation because they were already living abroad we cannot help ourselves from shrieking with joy.
