Finally wait is over: kids summer vacations has started

As mercury is rising these days.....for me Delhi is not a place to stay longer. I was waiting for summer vacations for kids to start.
They started from today.......atleast one month long.
I will take my family to hills.........I mean my native place.....in a much cool, green and near to nature environment.
If you have any plans to visit near future ?

summer vacation here for students is april to may. the school year starts in june and ends in march.
i'm sure the kids look forward to spending time in your hometown
how many hours will it take to travel from delhi?

@spaceseed are the kids used to it, or does it become challenging when they get start to get bored and restless?

It will take 10 hours in total.......distance is just 400 km but travelling is such that 2 hours to home to railway station and 1 hour from railway station to village home. that means 7 hrs train journey

@JudyEv I would like to and can do.........but my work keep me slightly busy ............ones in two month which I do alone.
and with family I go every 4 month

I always took my children camping and sleeping in a tent in the summer. We loved it. My children are grown now but we still do it when they have time. Enjoy your summer.
