We are off to Manhattan later this morning to see an off Broadway show. We purchased our tickets way back in March for the Saturday 2:00 performance rather than the 5:00 performance and passed on the Sunday shows.
Our ice princess not only is a figure skater, but a tap dancing performer. She was at practice one day two years ago and discovered by a theater rep. She had to send in a head shot, missing teeth and all, a resume, and audition by bringing in sheet music and singing to piano accompaniment in front of the powers that be. She got the part of an Indian in Peter Pan. Last year she was a frog!
Today will be her fourth show with multiple appearances.
We are ultra excited and plan on a quick visit back stage. See you guys later!!

@DianneN It's amazing how quickly kids change. My oldest was painfully shy as well, not anymore lol.

@DianneN Awwww - I'll bet she was so cute up there! Yah, that's a lot to remember - but she handles it all so well - she can sure multi-task

Thank you! She was awesome. She did ballet in two performances yesterday. Today, she will tap. I truly don't know how she remembers all those steps and double toe loops, etc. I'd be so confused and just stand still. . My son snuck a partial video on his phone. My DIL put it on Facebook in a comment. I can't copy and save it, so we just watch it there, over and over.

@lovinangelsinstead21 I had no idea! She used to take ballet from age 2-5, but had to give it up for ice skating. She was so good, it broke my heart when she stopped, but it helped her tremendously with her balance on the skates. Thanks so much!

Thank you. She did ballet for two performances yesterday, and is tap dancing in two different roles today, in two shows, which I will miss. Darn!
She is already on YouTube lol. I wouldn't know how to tell you how to find anything.
The show was wonderful and even my husband enjoyed it. She did a great job, too. What a day we had. Sounds like another discussion.
