I have left overs from our barbecue yesterday, so most likely a hot dog and some potato salad. and watermelon.I will have an onion with the hotdogs that will be my veggie I guess..no not a whole onion..just pieces of onion. It has already been cut. What about you?

@Onsoul It kind of depends on what you have on hand for the toppings..YOu usually have quite a few leftovers with pizza the store brand pizza goes pretty fast and has a lot more sodium usually.

@snowy22315 homemade pizza is delicious if you can get the ingredients at the right price.. otherwise you'll be better off paying for a store bought brand for $5-6 bucks

I have popsicles too, actually the bomb pops the new fudge and banana ones. I found them fairly inexpensively at Target..the local supermarket wanted like over 5 bucks..for popsicles??? that'll be the day!

@snowy22315 Yeah this safeway over here is nuts like that too..over $5 for pops. But I got them on an infrequent sale they had for half the price the tropical kind.

Your leftovers sound yummy. We went out for lunch after church this morning, so no leftovers for us. Probably a hamburger later or homemade pimento cheese sandwiches or ??? Nothing too heavy too late. Our teenage grandson is here for the weekend (14 on Tuesday!) and he likes tuna or PBJ's or really, most anything!

@snowy22315 That's the truth! He only weighed 2 1/2 pounds when he was born, but he's sure making up for it now! And of course this grandma will cook him any and everything he wants, lol.

We've had barbecue food too. My nephew's girlfriend's birthday is this week, then my sister's birthday is next weekend so they have a joint 'do'. This year, the same as last year, it was a barbecue at a local country park. So I am actually quite full of meat and salad and ice-cream and two types of birthday cake! Since coming home, I've just had a packet of crisps.

We're going to be having chicken fingers and fries today.. not a meal of champions but at least it's something .. just don't know what time yet as it's still early as far as I'm concerned
