His food stamps

Well, my roommate finally gets food stamps but don't get very much at all because they claim he makes too much too. He gets around $120 this month and $69 a month after that. He is gonna just have to pay up mainly otherwise. He will have to figure things out. Husband won't be too happy but he also found out he has health insurance now though. We will have to just figure things out. Hopefully he figures things out on how to help out more here around the house. My husband and I with our son don't get food stamps because we make too much. We will update when we move because our rent goes up then.

$120 a month is a lot. I get a third of that. I let it build up so I can do a full grocery trip with it. I hope things work out for you.

Hi. I wanted to say getting food stamps does help when you are trying to get by in this life.I have been on both sides where I was making good money and not getting any help. I understand when a person gets a job they have to contribute more its only fair. I also know since i am now on a fixed income I don't get that much in food stamps either just barely enough to get by. I hope this situation works out for all of you.
