I love K-mart and today the checker looked priceless when she saw what I ended up with free. I'll get a lot of use with my new tools in my garden. A cultivator, trowel and a transplanting tool, so ready for planting some new seedlings tomorrow.
What did you save money on recently?

Oh wow.! Thats great! Lol the cashiers are always shocked at how much my mom and I pick up and get with our points. Like last night with the 12 Xtra laundry soap bottles. Plus some clothing. Lol.

The lady behind me actually stopped talking on her phone when she watched me and told the person on the phone you wouldn't believe the lady in front of me. She wanted to know how to get her purchase free. I told her how to pay less next time.

@Courtlynn Wow, they know about it here and ask each customer, if they want to use their points. The lady in front of me used her points and saved money on her birthday card and she was really happy.

@Fishmomma oh my goodness. I can believe it lol everyone stops and stares when the cashier says your piints paid for it all or most if it. I tell people all the time how to get stuff free or cheap. Some do it others dont.
My mom and i were shocked to know that NONE of our kmart workers knew about winit or sweeps!

That's pretty awesome. I assume you take advantage of the points you can earn through Shop Your Way's Sweeps? I've gotten so many freebies from Sears thanks to that. Too bad our K-mart closed, I'd be shopping there for free every week instead!

Yes, I do use Shop Your Way and its one of my favorite ways to save money and love door busters. People post door busters on Facebook, so that helps increase my freebies and donated a lot of canned food last year because of the sweeps.

@Fishmomma That's so awesome. I've collected a bunch of really cheap school supplies over the past couple of years, since Staples and Office Max usually run the really competitive promotions and have the deals you can get for a penny or a quarter with a purchase of $x.xx. I usually buy something that I'll get either free or close to it with a rebate as my required purchase, so my final cost is just a few cents.
We have way more than we need right now, though, and I saw a donation bin at the mall we went to today. I don't think we'll end up going back there but I'll find out if those are something that my daughters' schools can use. It's great to be able to help others out without having to spend a ton of money to do it.

@yukimori I donated a lot of school supplies also. Its great to see the deals at Staples and Office Max with some rebates. I was glad to help with the backpack program, as there was a great deal on a backpack last year and managed to fill it with penny and quarter items. I'm always looking for ways to help children be successful in school.

@Fishmomma I hope so, my dear friend. It is still in the process of having the inheritance.

I tend to buy in bulk and use sales or coupons when I can. I do get a few samples in the mail.

That is great and the bulk stores do have excellent deals. One of them in this area is offering a movie ticket printed on the grocery receipt.

Good to know that. I like gardening very much. What are the plants you are planting?
