Dirt Under My Nails

We got more soil yesterday, so I could work in the garden some.I did not make it here very much at all.
Hubby did some little things here, while I filled the bed to put the violets in. I have not moved any yet.
We went to Marion, for the Chingawassa Days concerts a little before 6.We ate a snack type meal and headed to the concerts. There were three concerts. The earliest was a somewhat local guy. The second was an "up and coming' artist named Brody Caster, and the third, at 9 pm, was Charlie Daniels Band.
Each time my husband went to vendors for food, they were out of almost everything, so we were hungry after the concerts. We drove to another town and had a Sonic burger and onion rings.
When we got home, that cat sneaked out. She would not come in until 1:30 a.m. Then she got me up early.
@JolietJake I thought of you. Seeing the tech work with lights and sound, and having a stubborn black cat were strong reminders.
So, it is raining today, and I will be around off and on.

I love the Charlie Daniels Band! I would have loved to have gone to that concert! I hope you had a good time! Nothing is worse than being at a concert and finding out that you can't get anything to eat or drink.

He was good. Introduced a new fiddle song--"Tennessee Fiddle Man". He also did lots of old favorites, and of course ended with "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"

@GardenGerty I heard Tennessee Fiddle Man. Our local country music radio station played it the other night. I can't believe he and his band are still cranking out the tunes even at their age.

Its winter time here but that's also unpredictable at times as it get pretty humid, whats wrong with the weather this year.

I think I never got back to this discussion. It was the night my husband had a stroke. Life, and weather cycle on, though. Must be summer for you now.

I can always count on myLot. That particular weekend my husband had a stroke and I got even busier for a while.
