When I looked at my email this morning I had a message asking for my email information, which was suspicious because I was already on the site. I didn't believe it was actually from my carrier but I opened it to see what it looked like. I had no sooner opened it than our avast took the message away saying it was infected. As it happened our computer suffered no damage. But probably others have had this happen and did suffer damage. Our avast is always on duty. I hope you have good protection. Have you ever had a similar problem?

I look at mine everyday. It's mostly junk but I get email from one of my sisters and an old friend I haven't seen in years.

I never open anything suspicious. I have Avast as well and love it's protection, even if it does always ask me to upgrade. I have the free version.

Whenever I received any notifications like this, I just deleted them. I had experienced having computer virus after opening the message.
