Did you ever lose your luggage in your flight?

Lately I watched a documentary called City in the Sky. It is a very interesting documentary. It talks about many aspects about the flights. And every year there are still many lost luggages. Hard to believe that these lost luggages are going to have an auction at the end. There may not be expensive things inside, but their owners feel sad because their luggages are lost. They may have meaningful things inside.
Did you experience to lose your luggage? We are lucky and we haven't experienced it yet.

Our luggage has been "lost" several times, but after a few days they were able to find it. I used to put labels everywhere with our address, outside and inside. They do not check well enough. I remember that I saw a luggage and the company said it was lost and they did not know who the owner was, but I saw that there was a small label attached, nobody had noticed.
