Describe what's on your mind! - I'm sitting here, staring at my morning medications, and thinking there has to be an easier way.
But there may not be.
And that is just one of life's hard lessons.
Sometimes, there just isn't an easier way.
*grabs handful of pills*
*tosses in mouth*
*drinks a shot of coughee*
So we just do it the old way.
People are on my mind this morning...people of all shapes and sizes, and temperaments, and levels of intelligence and sophistication.
That's a lot to have on one's mind this early in the day.
But there it is...and now you know.
*raises coughee cup*
G'mornin' myLot, here we go again...

I get them all out and then just stare at them for a few minutes...I know they aren't gonna magically leap into my mouth, but they look so intimidating some mornings

Seems like just about everyone here starts their day with a handful of pills. I take mine one at a time, and with tea. My mother used to take hers all at once, as you do, but when she came to live with me, I made her take them one at a time to make sure she drank enough liquids.

@JolietJake I could never do it, take all at once. One calcium pill is a handful on its own, never mind two. Then there's the others...

I actually split mine 4 & 4, I tried taking all 8 at once and it was just a bit too much

There comes a time when taking the meds is not as bad as what happens when we don't. But coffee is a steadfast friend, so every morning has something good in it. Sunshiny here for a change. Coffee at my side. And some antacid so I can drink the coffee. Little changes, that's how old age gets ya. Little changes that you begin to accept. Ah, well. Sunshiny day.

well just envision you are at the bottom of a mountain.. and the only place to go is up...
but it will probably be a pain in the tookus getting there

It was almost cold here this morning, didn't bother Scar much but my legs are a bit chilly in shorts

@JolietJake I've only just got up, too early to feel anything just yet, but the house feels warm because all of the windows are closed. We're expected highs in the mid 30's with heavy humidity this weekend, and I'd assume that you will be getting similar weather a day or so ahead of us.

This sounds like a routine, but what else could you do? :(
You woke up with your head very active, and for me, all you think sounds like a poem, this phrase specifically: "People are on my mind this morning...people of all shapes and sizes, and temperaments, and levels of intelligence and sophistication."
