Diary Tuesday 14th June 2017

My long planned journey to Manchester to mind a friend's house for two and a hal weeks started today. I got my compulsory job searching done before setting off around noon. The coach ride was very nice. I was chatting with a busker who was on route to Manchester to play in the city centre there. The coach to Manchester arrived nearly 15 minutes ahead of schedule and I got a local bus to very close to the house I am staying in. The couple who own it gave me the keys and instructions for the cat feeding, when bins need to go out, etc and got ready for their holiday in Texas. (I thought they were going to somewhere European). We watched TV and drank wine until they needed to go to bed early (their flight being early tomorrow). The cat hates me, as I'm a stranger taking her owner's place and using the spare bed she normally makes her own. Hopefully she'll get to like me as she realises she needs me for her food. Agreed, I mean it's not like the cat expects you to sleep outside. Sure there's an acceptable spot on the carpet. (Check first with cat though)
