For the first time in my life I'm actually looking forward to the visit, with the prospect of the pain being eliminated - it feels a little like Christmas. I have to spare a thought for those in the profession, people never want...

Rhombus Yeah, I agree, there are lots of talented people all over the world applying for positions every day. If our tax money was used to generate jobs and educate people it would be a different situation. Its sad when families become fragmented due to economic...

It’s not easy being employed in retail. Dealing with unrealistic expectations all day, rude customers who treat staff earning minimal wages badly. The other downside the lack of weekends and family time. Do customers ever...

Hello Everyone, I wanted to have some good suggestion or advice from you all about migrating to another country, presently I work and live in Kuwait, according to you which is the better place to migrate.

Rhombus You need to choose a country where: 1) You speak the same language and hold the same beliefs. For example, Russia - a Russian speaker who is Christian would be able to integrate. 2) Your skills need to be in demand. 3) You need to be able to support...

Rhombus @DesirousDreamer As your agent, I suggest you keep with those plans LOL. Is it too soon for me to start looking for my little house in Hollywood?

Rhombus @Keyia120 If there are previous publications under your maiden name then keep using that one (unless you have something against that family name LOL). In a way its better (it's you), however still has the private aspect (people may not pick up on it easily...

Rhombus If I was an author I would definitely use my real name. Your name is your "brand", and people will become accustomed to your brand and seek you out. These are modern times, use your name, get it out there, even if you publish a book now that you are not proud...

Rhombus @DesirousDreamer I would say go for it. Personally, I love movies/books that are based on a real story. Considering signing up as your agent (no, I have no experience or actual knowledge of what that entails), but that doesn't matter - have started planning...

Rhombus @TheHorse Quoted from a cat website (not sure I am allowed to put link, so didn't). "Not all cat purrs are purrs of contentment. Cats purr when they are stressed, in pain, or severely ill. Often, cats at the end of life will purr. Cats enter life and leave...

Rhombus I would suggest that you use the least expensive paper you can buy to practice on. With oils it's slightly easier (you can wipe the canvas), watercolors much more difficult. As others have said, try YouTube. I hope it goes well, you must post some pics...
