What's for dinner? June 19

What's going on the dinner table tonight? Do tell! I'm trying a new recipe tonight that I found on Epicurious.com: Turkey Stroganoff. It calls for ground turkey and I just so happen to have some of that in my fridge that needs to be used up. I have all of the other ingredients necessary so I'm excited to try it and see if it is any good. I love beef stroganoff and haven't had it in ages, so we will see how this turns out. I'm having it over egg noodles and I'll steam some asparagus to go with it. Yum. That's what's happening here. What are YOU having? I want to know!

Meatloaf sounds good. I was thinking of that or meatballs before I stumbled upon this recipe. I love meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Total comfort food.

@NJChicaa definitely is. Only have it when my brother is home, or my boyfriend is here though. Wont make it just for me. Although we did once last week when my brother wasnt here, but wasnt that good.. but only cause i eat it with ketchup and didnt notice we didnt have any til it was done cooking.

@Courtlynn I don't like ketchup. I sometimes make a tomato glaze to go on top which I suppose is similar to having it with ketchup but is less sweet. When I'm really lazy I just smear the top with plain tomato paste.

It was really warm here too but the temperature has dropped almost 10 degrees in the past hour due to approaching thunderstorms. The breezes coming in the window feel lovely. If my husband doesn't put the other 2 window AC units in this week, I am going to shank him.
