How do you make your instant noodles?

Do you cook it or just soak it with hot water? Most of the time I will cook it for a few minutes. I heard it is healthier and also much more delicious. Besides, I like to add an egg or some meatballs inside.
As to soaking the instant noodles with hot water, I seldom do so. It spends me longer time to boil water as I am afraid the available water is not hot enough.

@Linda1234 Sure, since at that time you don't have a cooker nearby

I pot it in a bowl then pour approx.2 cups boiling water not just hot and cover the bowl with a saucer, put raw egg on top, fried garlic. I squeeze native lemon and a few drops of hot sauce before eating.

@louievill In fact I also look forward to having your fresh seafood from your country. Sometimes I see my friends posts on their social networking apps and they show off the seafood photos when they travel to your country

@youless but since a pack of noodles has more sodium content, it was advised that the first time the noodles are boiled, the water used should be thrown and then reboil the noodles again. the first boiled water may contain the sodium residue already

I usually boil them in water. They are crispy when they come out of the package, I am not sure how I would cook them.

I normally add noodles to the boiling water with a spoonful of oil and after a minute switch off the stove, cover the vessel with a lid and leave it until I prepare the vegetables or whatever I want to add to it. Normally the noodles are soft and done and then I add it to the prepared vegetables or chicken.

I have never heard of just soaking them and eating them. We always cook them. At college, I just use the pack that comes with it since it is cheap and convenient when I don't have a lot of time. I like to add an egg to mine sometimes as well. I prefer garlic, cheese, salsas, and some kind of meat or other veggies when I am at home and have the time and ingredients available.
