A Pleasant Surprise

About 4:30p. I asked my daughter was she was planning for dinner tonight. She said she had a roast in the oven. What a pleasant surprise. She went and got a food basket Friday and that must have been in there. With potatoes it should be a good meal. So much more appetizing than our usual at this time of the month.
I hope we still have horseradish. Roast beef is so good with a little of the horsey on it.
I will continue to Mylot until it is ready. It will be another hour and I am starved.

I am getting hungry as well at 5:30. All this extra walking has my appetite increasing, but am not snacking between meals. Enjoy that roast!

My husband loves his roast with horseradish on it. Me I love Yorkshire pudding, haven't made it in years though. Most roasts are just too lean, you need some good beef fat. I hope you really enjoyed your dinner.

I've never had Yorkshire pudding but have wanted to try it. I do love my horseradish.

@AbbyGreenhill .....I use herbs mostly but a few spices. Not hot food by any means. I do like garlic and pepper though.

@celticeagle I'm a spice-less person - since my tummy doesn't like spices I cook with little spices but my food isn't bland
