Today Is Gonna Be Great

Today , finally, I will be taking care of the biggest most troublesome task I have had waiting for me. I have been procrastinating big time.
Once I give my lawyer all the papers and such that she needs I will be virtually free of having to run around gathering documents.
I am getting a piece of property put in my girl's name and out of mine and my mothers name.
My mother passed away in January and ever since then I have been trying and getting frustrated by the slow process of getting things changed over.
It's my own fault actually. My lawyer could have pretty much done it all, I think, but it would have cost the moon. I was trying to save money by doing the footwork myself.
Next time, if there ever is one, I will know better. I will leave it to those who can do it best and quickest.
So, today will be a terrific day. Once I leave the lawyers office I can breath a sigh of relief knowing that it is all taken care of.

Having worked for lawyers for a few years, and having bought and sold lots of land and homes...having a deed changed to a new name is not a hard thing to have done. Here we don't need lawyers for such things, the title company does it.
I always make sure to do things the easy way.

most lawyers're kinda like leeches 'n 't seems they thrive'n suckin' folks dry 'n then act 's though they've done ya a favor. i am glad to hear though that such a burden 'tis been lifted 'n now ya can breath a sigh 'f relief fer such.
i've been spendin' my days emailin'/callin' elected officials 's we're runnin' outta time to put a halt to the ridiculous proposed budgets that start with the department 'f interior. if'n a lawyer'd tend to such, i'd gladly pay 'em whate'er they wished.

@HazySue i started out wishin' to be'n attorney myself. e'en did 2 years 'f schoolin' 'n got'n internship. 4 months 'f workin' there i changed my profession. lawyers, insurance companies, car salesman 'n horse traders aint real high 'n my list.

@crazyhorseladycx they aren't on my list either, to tell the truth. I was more focused on becoming a doctor. I never made it but I now wish I had been more serious about it.
