If You Give a Horse a Cookie...

...he's going to want milk with that cookie.
If drinks the milk at his computer, he's going to see the reminder that he has a Dr. appointment at 2:50.
If he drives to his Dr. appointment, he's going to see the Home Depot near the Dr. office and remember that he needs De-Oxit for his stereo amplifiers.
If he drivers to Home Depot, he's going to see the Dollar Tree next door and remember that he needs paper towel and more Totally Awesome Clearer for headlights and kitchen counters.
If he's at the Dollar Tree check out line, he's going to notice that Gatorade is only $1.00 per bottle, which is cheaper than two for $3.20 at Chevron.
If he's sitting on the curb at the Dollar Tree, looking at headlights and smoking a cig, he's going to remember that he hasn't yet tried his "clean your headlights for $40" experiment with a stranger with dirty headlights.
If he does his social psychology headlight experiment with a stranger, he's going to blow his cover and have a laughter-filled conversation with said stranger, while the stranger winds up with clean headlights.
If he has two Gatorades when he gets home, he's going to put one in the freezer and take it to the pool with him.
Did you have a productive day as well?

But what if I give you a cookie with nuts and you're allergic to nuts? You will end up in the ER and miss your doctor's appointment, then some shyster lawyer will offer to sue.....

@TheHorse -- yeah, things were better before the times of "lawyers dwell on small details" (to quote Don Henley)....

@TheHorse this one came across my librarian memes on my Facebook feed. And of course I had to share it.

This picture is so interesting, and I find that both estern and western kids are the same on this point:
everytime I finally finish reading several stories for my two daughters every night and we turn off the light and go tuckled, then my elder daughter will say, Mom, I want to drink some water. I have been driven crazy because she does this every night. So I will remind her to drink water before we turn off the light.
Nurturing childern is really so time-consuming and tired...

Not as productive as yours, it's almost noon and for the moment I have moped the floors, dusted the furniture, prepared the food for noon and planned the menus for the next few days. I would like to move some plants from the greenhouse to the vegetable garden today, but it seems it's going to rain again.

gigglin' 't'cher logic o'er the headlight gig. great deal'n those gatorades. i'm cheap'n buy the tubs 'f that which one's gotta mix'n their own. great idea though to take one down to the pool.
't least 't sounds's though ya tackled all yer chores fer the day. i 'twas lazy myself. only got 1/2 the back yard weed-eated (there'd be no weeds, but i've no workin' mower...), a pattern drawn out to finish my sweet momma's quilt (borders...dang 'em), 3 loads 'f laundry, floors swept/mopped/vac'd 'n sorta joined ms. @Platespinner 'n regards to poop scoopin' (thus needed to be done 'fore trimmin' the grass). so glad the hubs's 3 pups he only pays mind to when he goes bird huntin'.

I did and I did not leave the yard, I mowed but then needed to cut an overhanging limb so not to get hit in the eye, got the trimmer and cut the entire row back, seen the mower an went back to mowing before the rain comes, Mows and then as I was putting the mower up I seen my camera took a few photos and took the camera inside, remembered the trash and took it out to the can, where I seen the limbs laying for me to have a full days work tomorrow.
