It's that time again. Birthday coming up soon and DMV sent me a wonderful reminder in the mail that it was time for me to renew my licence. In my life I can count on one hand the number of pictures I've had taken that actually look nice. This isn't one of them. It's going to take two weeks for me to receive it in the mail. They gave me a plain black and white photo of what it will look like. Black and white probably makes it look worse than it will when I get it in the mail, we'll see when it arrives. Anyway, when I got home and checked the mail I saw this wonderful reminder that my birthday was coming up as well. It makes me laugh. I can get a free pair of sun lenses. I only need to pay $129.95 for the frame. How generous of them. Not! One thing that did have me concerned when I renewed my licence was the vision test. I have cataracts and those letters were dancing and blurry. It took a few seconds for me to read that top line of letters. I'll be very happy when I can get that surgery and be able to see properly again. Picture is the free offer that came in the mail. I'm so happy people are concerned about my getting older with free offers and letters from DMV. It makes me feel special. I'll have my new licence before my birthday. They were kind enough to punch void on the current licence. They are so thoughtful at DMV. Has anyone made you feel special lately? Thanks for reading.
