I Am Not Into Sports

My partner loves sports a lot and he talks to me about basketball and football and stuff like that but I don't really have that interest to listen or to feel excited of what he told me about that because, I am not into sports. I don't know why I am not that keen about that kind of games or maybe I just don't like it that much.
Sometimes,he shows sadness and feel sigh whenever he want to say something about it because we are not having the same interest and I wish I am but no.I will still listen though but it is different if you are a fan or it is your hobby like he is.But I respect of what he desires for him to enjoy even if we are not match when it comes to that.What is your hobbies myLotters?Do you like sports too or something else!

The only type of sports I like to watch is badminton. I don't usually make it a discussion topic when I'm with other people though.

I like the Olympics but do not usually watch it. To me it is amazing to watch these people go against one another and see how good they are and who brings home a medal or not. Just to get there to me should be proud enough.

My boyfriend is into basketball, football and golf. Plus boxing. Im not really into any of it but football. And thats only by maybe 25%

So, the things you are interested in does he listen and care about those? That is hard to listen and care for something you do not have any interest in. Do you watch the games with him? Doesn't he sense that you do not like those things and is there something you both like and share together?

Doesn't he sense that you do not like those things and is there something you both like and share together? I love to read, watch people, watch TV, listen to music and sit in the sun.

nope, I am not into sports either. My hubby used to be a runner in his school. He loves badminton too but you know age is catching up, he is more keen in sleeping now.

Happy is the man who is living by his hobby-George Bernard Shaw. Sports make your man happy. Maybe you can learn why he is so passionate through listening and learning a little bit about the sports he likes. It could help make your relationship even better. Sports are his passion. Find the hobby that interests you and be passionate about that. No reason why both of you can't be happy in your hobby-DB (that quote is mine, ha, ha)

That is actually cool if you and your partner have different interests even I have the similar problem. I love to play cricket and my girlfriend plays basketball. We always discuss about our matches but never get each other's jargons. We just show that we are interested to listen. ??

I do not like sports and have never liked sports. Except nascar racing.
