Parting is such sweet sorrow....myLot

bla bla bla It seems everyone and their uncle is draining my internet dry! It is slower than, well, it's very slow. The clouds don't help either, satellite internet isn't all it's cracked up to be. I did take a few hours to enjoy the pool when the sun was out. Also picked enough green beans to feed all of you, cleaned and cooked them and got the dinner ingredients organized. So I am going to call it a day myLotters. I think I will go outside and swat at the June Bugs, yes, the lousy things always wait until July 1st to show their ugly selves. They are a pain in the neck. In my case one was a pain in my ear years ago. Yes, he flew into my ear...it was awful. Enjoy the rest of your day! Photo from Pixabay

Oh dear flew into your ear? I would die of fear. Yesterday all the dragonflies came out around here. I watched them off my balcony Abby. Okay have a great day now and see you later.

I have sattellite internet too. I hate it, but I have to say it is a darn site better than dial up. I guess when I moved here I was shocked that I couldn't get Verizon Fios like I had in the city...and it still isn't here!

Haven't got many of them here. When I was young(10 or 11) we lived in Pocatello and the june bugs were extreme there. You could scoop them up with a jar. Ugh! Having anything go in an ear would be a horrible experience.

And they seem to enjoy dive bombing people! They are horrible. They come up out of the grass - my husband mowed yesterday and killed dozens of them.

@AbbyGreenhill .....They seem to come in droves. Ugh! I still remember walking in the grass back then and feeling them under foot. Gross!

I understand your frustration with a slow internet. I remember back in the days of dialup and wonder how I tolerated it. Enjoy your pool!

Earlier today, it seemed like my internet was slower. The pages were taken longer than normal to load.

Love that photo of yours (and that beautiful greenish beetle)! Did they manage to save both your ear and that bug at the time ? I remembered seeing a kid complain about some noise in one of her ears, but no one believed her. In the end, the nurse did dig out a small fly or bee (or something). That kid became a hero afterward in our neighborhood.
