Coming in at #2 was a hard decision as I still have many to choose from and might do one more list after this, is Dante's Peak.
A town at the base of Dante's Peak is in danger of a volcanic eruption. A seismologist and crew come in to assess the volcano and determine if it poses a danger to the town.
Starring Pierce Brosnan, Linda Hamilton, Jamie Renee Smith, Jeremy Foley, and Elizabeth Hoffman.
With as many active volcanoes as there are in the world, this is a believable story. Lots of great action and acting. A must see if you like volcanoes, disaster movies, and well who can resist Pierce Brosnan? I give this movie a firm 5 stars for its edge of my seat, nail biting action.
Have you seen this one? Thanks for reading.

@just4him I might have started to watch it at one time, but probably changed the channel because it was half-way through the movie. I'll see if its being shown On demand or Netflix. Thanks

I don't remember much about this film but do recall seeing it and no doubt it held my attention or I would have turned it off.

@TiarasOceanView So can I. If I owned this one or it were on more often, I would be able to do it by now.

I saw this one way back when. It was part of another disaster film cycle inspired by Mt St Helen's.

The name sounds familiar, but I did not see it. It has been so long since I have seen a movie.

@MsBooklover That's strange you don't get any channels. Is it your TV that's the issue? Do you need an antenna?

@just4him I have a TV, but I cannot get any channels. I have this thing that you put on your windowsill. I used to be able to get three channels. That was a long time ago. Now, I cannot get any.
