My Introduction - Some Words About Me and What I like Doing

Hello my friends from MyLot, I’ve just created my account on the site and I am happy to meet you!
My name is Manoel, but please, call me Mano or Manandezo, as my username says. I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but I live in Petrópolis, a city located in the mountains of its State. I am 46 years old and I used to work as a Portuguese and Literature teacher, but now I am a translator and I work mainly with Spanish, Portuguese and English languages. This main part of my life lead me to write poetry and proses that I might share with you as well, so you can comment and we can talk about them.
I work at home, translating juridical, medical and technical documents and in my spare time I practice Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga in a Spiritual Center in front of my home. I also like handicraft work, especially tapestry, stitching and macramé (in fact everything that uses lines I like). At present, I am creating works with paper, gouache and glue, and also doodling and zentangling in crayon and fine pens.
Last month I bought myself a camera as a birthday gift, and now I am learning how to picture correctly. I will be more than happy to share with you this new passion of mine in all the pictures I take of the city I live in and everything else.
I also like to read and write about spirituality, religiosity and news related to these topics.
So, this is a little about myself and I will be posting regularly my sketches, handicraft work and texts for the comments and this will surely make me grow together with you all.

Hello @devops, yes, we do! My previous account was somehow hacked and I could not log in anymore. I missed MyLot so much and as I am working from home now, I decided to return and make my work known in MyLot!

Very interesting way to introduce yourself, hun, and what a great idea! Thank you for your very interesting introduction, and many warm welcomes to mylot! I find mylot to be a very interesting site, with a very unique premise that I would really like to start promoting on my own site, getting people who read my blog to either revisit if they've already been here, or maybe visit, sign up and make some new friends and maybe even new contacts, if they are new.
You sound like a very interesting and fun person to be around, and it will be my pleasure to get to know you better and maybe even end up learning from each other; I am all about the exchange of positive energies, that give and take of aloha, the Hawaiian word encompassing all aspects of love, especially the concept of loving-kindness. To me, it's the Hawaiian word picture that means the same as the word "namaste" from India.

Hello @ladyankh3909, thank you so much for your kind response to my Introduction thread! I must say I felt really warm and comforted with your words!
MyLot is definitely a great place to be and when we get the time to blog every single day about something, it can be really rewarding in many aspects, not only the financial one, but also in the sentimental part of it: meeting new people, sharing unconditional love and learning with one another. For sure, the spiritual part is the most important one for me and this is something I will be posting and caring about the most on the site.
Once again, thank you so much for your visit and we will truly develop a great friendship through the virtual lines of MyLot, but with the same true and deep respect and spirit as in person. Lovely day towards you!
