Waking up in the morning

I think there are two kinds of people in the world, those that need an alarm clock or some other external source to wake them up in the morning, spouse, parent, or even a pet..and those who just wake up when it is time to wake up. I would put myself in category two. If I have to get up early, I may set an alarm..but it is rarely or never needed. I just wake up! What about you?

I mostly just wake up too. But sometimes, unless I get up immediately, my inner clock seems to think it's done its bit and I go back to sleep!

I think my natural body is kind of a "lark" awake in the morning. I rarely have problems getting up. That doesn't mean I don't like my sleep. It is usually preferable to stay in bed.

I have a strange method that always works. I tell myself how many hours I can sleep and what time I need to be up and I usually am. It's rare when I need an alarm clock or when I over sleep. When I over sleep, I usually need the sleep more than the activity - which is usually swimming.

@snowy22315 I've only used the alarm for backup when it comes to getting up for church, but I haven't needed it for that either.

I am a bad sleeper these days so I wake up early anyway but I have always had an internal alarm clock.

Yes, especially if I am excited about doing something or have made a commitment I wake up prior to the alarm almost always.

I do not need an alarm, I just wake up, it's a sort of internal clock.
