Hey Mister Can You Help Us?

That is the exact words I used today when I found myself and this other lady needing something from the top shelf, that I could not climb up the shelf and get. I told the lady, wait right here. I stepped into the isle and seen this really tall man coming my way, I said " excuse me Mister can you help us get something from a top shelf?" He looked down at us, smiled and said "sure." He got the exact flavors of Almonds I wanted and for the lady waiting for me to get help. I thanked the man and he walked off. Usually I climb and get them but they were to far back. Would you ask a stranger for help?

@Kamran21 um, what? Is this really even a question? I'm not a person who gives off an appearance that I am open to flirting.

I've asked employees for help but not strangers. Although I sometimes get asked to help strangers who are shorter than me!

Yes I usually have elderly people to ask me to get something for them, or when in the wheelchair carts.

@andriaperry Then there is no other option than taking help. I guess they should have better option to reach to such items. Or they should appoint long person specially for this.

I asked a total stranger before. asked her if she has a plastic bag and she looked for one on her bag, in time for me to throw up inside the bus.

I used to take my very tall son with me when I went to WalMart. I am not short but they have gone back to filling all of their high rise shelves and I think they have even put up an extension. People ask hubby for help all the time. He works IN Walmart but not FOR Wal mart, but he does not mind one bit.

As most workers are strangers.. of course. Lol. Also ask other strangers that are shoppers too when they are near by. But usually my short self climbs the shelves too lol
