Replacing the Ceiling Fan

Since I moved in here I've had problems with the ceiling fan. The lights kept going on and off. At first it was thought the lights were just loose so they tightened them - wrong. Recently I had a new light kit put on, hoping that would fix the problem - Not. So today they are replacing the whole ceiling fan. He's here right now working on it and hoping that will be the end of the light problem in the living room. He just turned off the power to the living room and kitchen. At least it didn't affect the office.
I'm really hoping this is the fix that works. I have a housing inspection next Tuesday and everything needs to be working.

No. I can't reach it. I have a corner cabinet below it and in order to reach the A/C I need to pull it out so I can get behind it and then I can barely reach it.

It's that time of day here that it gets hot. I am upstairs the heat is extra hot. I am so tired of summer heat here. I look so forward to Halloween and the chilly autumn.

@just4him It certainly would. Sometimes I have to change my clothes twice in a day after working because it is so hot. My clothes are drenched with perspiration.

@AbbyGreenhill I think she is responsible to keep the house clean and in good conditions, but she cannot be held responsible for those things they have to take care of.

It's only hot outside LOL! Yesterday about 3:30 it was 95 and heat index was over 100, and will be hotter today.

@just4him We picked beggies early. Went in the pool at 10:30 for an hours, water was close to 90 degrees.

That's too hot. It's best to stay in with that kind of heat. It's humid here. I haven't checked the weather lately, but we're only going to be in the 80's but the heat index will make it feel hotter.
