Potty training once more

My little guy is still in diapers. But since yesterday morning, we've been potty training him during the day and only putting a diaper on him at night, since we're just starting. He does seem interested in going and sitting on the potty. Yes, he's had some accidents on the floor, which is normal. I'm not sure if he's actually done anything while sitting on the potty, but if he hasn't then it will come. I'm still pleased that he does want to go and sit on it. It's something. And who knows? Soon we may be a diaper free house.

Diaper free will be great for you! I have a long way to go before that happens in my house. Lol. When we move (somewhere) we are potty training Julian too.

I do kind of look forward to having a diaper free house. It will save some money. Once you have Julian potty trained, it will be good for you. One less in diapers.

@LovingMyBabies my little guy is 2 1/2. I think mine is ready. If Julian seems ready then you should try.

@dodo19 How old is your little one? I'm hoping to get Julian trained before he turns 2. He's 16 months now.

He's 2 1/2. I am looking forward to it. Although it will be kind of be strange, as we've always had someone in diapers since my eldest was born.

Maybe a reward system would work to get him potty trained.

I have no kids, so I never had to do this. My Mom tells me all the time that I was a lot better than my brother. I was diaper free when my brother was born and I was 18 month old, my brother had diapers until he was 2 years old.

@LadyDuck I don't think so either. You have to go with what feels right.

I've heard some people say that boys are easier than girls. Although I do know one case where a mom I know said her son was a lot easier to potty train than her daughter. We've pretty much all done it at 2 1/2 and my girls were pretty easy. Especially my second. My son isn't being too difficult. I guess it varies from family to family, child to child.

@dodo19 This is what I think, there are no specific rules on this matter.

It's what I've heard as well. Although he seems to be doing pretty well so far. I also have a friend and she said that her son potty trained pretty well. She didn't have too much problem. Either way, we'll see.

That move is going to save you some money. Getting the baby interested in it must have been the most difficult part

It will definitely save us some money. That will be nice. It wasn't easy, but we asked and he wanted to go and keep going back. So that was good.

@CookieMonster46 It has been difficult on us too. Especially when we had two in diapers at the same time.
