I'm perfect!

Did you know that?
I sure didn't.
I thought I needed to change a few things about myself.
I know I am rather abrasive at times, and I'm not always real cheerful.
And I was going to work on some of my less-than-stellar qualities.
But I found out I don't need to!
Oddly enough, some woman referred to me as 'Mr Perfect' yesterday.
And since you can't improve upon perfection, I guess I don't need to change anything about me!
This sure makes life a lot easier...

Perfect, like beauty is not always definitive.

Currently, I am present. In the past, I was imperfect, though I had been past perfect. In the future I will have been perfect.
Perfection is, in itself, a confection of 'per', meaning 'through' or 'complete' and the verb 'facere', meaning 'to make' or 'to do'.
Well, fac me perfecte!, as they say in Romania, though, to a Roman, it might mean something rather different!

Take it as a compliment. No matter how sarcastic it sounded, take it as a compliment.
