Deadly fair ride in Ohio

Malfunction at the Ohio State Fair leaves one dead and several injured Wednesday July 26th 2017 when a car broke loose from a 'pendulum' ride.
All fair rides have been ordered shut down until further inspections can be done.
The cause of the malfunction is currently unknown.

Probably not. Myself, I don't even go to fairs these days.

@JolietJake I am talking of those who are 'ride-crazy' I have never gone on those rides. I had many opportunities. The only experience I had was with the giant wheel when I was in my teens.

It makes you wonder if you should ever get on a ride. You would think that maintenance should prevent it from happening.
