Deadly fair ride in Ohio

Malfunction at the Ohio State Fair leaves one dead and several injured Wednesday July 26th 2017 when a car broke loose from a 'pendulum' ride.
All fair rides have been ordered shut down until further inspections can be done.
The cause of the malfunction is currently unknown.

@JolietJake I am talking of those who are 'ride-crazy' I have never gone on those rides. I had many opportunities. The only experience I had was with the giant wheel when I was in my teens.

THAT is probably the worst I've seen . . . oh how tragic. Ever since I had seen such videos, we don't go on these rinky dink carnival rides anymore . . . I cringe passing by those small time carnivals. But this one is a state fair - ugh - we're going to the county fair in a couple months.1 person likes this

It makes you wonder if you should ever get on a ride. You would think that maintenance should prevent it from happening.
