Favorite "Color" Songs #10 - "Yellow Like Cheese"

Color seems to be a popular musical subject here. I'm almost certain that @FourWalls has done a color theme countdown, @JohnRoberts recently did the color red, and @dgobucks226 has been doing a fun color-themed music trivia series. So, I'm going to rip everyone off with my own: #10 in my Favorite "Color" Songs series is "Yellow Like Cheese" by Yellowman.
The title track from reggae/dancehall star Yellowman's 1987 album, "Yellow Like Cheese" is a roots/dub reggae tune, with Yellowman (an albino, which is why he calls himself Yellowman) toasting over the top.
It's a hypnotic tune, but not a standard bass/drum/guitar reggae setup. This is stripped down reggae, with a piano as the main instrument.
I have never really been a fan of dancehall reggae, with a few exceptions, Yellowman being one of those. But don't worry. Other than Yellowman's toasting, this is not dancehall. It's just good reggae.

Good song, and the poor guy looks like Mick Jagger in some of those pictures.

Interesting story. No worries, my yellow selections do not include reggae, man Good name for a performer and cheese can be yellow. Sounds good to me

I am not that good on remembering singers/ groups names but I can hear a song and know it. I like this one even though I do not recall it
