Oh boy, here comes August .... time to get ready for all those tax free days

I remember the 2nd time they held the tax free day here for people with kids to get a break on school items. Yeah, it was a couple decades ago and it was a disaster for retailers. Instead of it benefiting US citizens it ended up benefitting rich Mexicans who came over and bought what they could in bulk to sell in Mexico. Since then the retailers here got legislation to limit what would have tax free on it so now the rich Mexicans aren't as enthusiastic about buying here on our tax free weekends. Personally I don't care as I have no kids to worry about plus I avoid those tax free days because what I would buy is always tax free. Ok, about that photo, I was at a friends house years ago and he wanted to play so would bring me his toy and I would throw it. He was a big boy but so sweet. When was the last time you played with a friends dog? Would you throw that toy for the pup in the photo?
