I am a very, very great FAN of Dr Seuss and his philosophical advice, and if I had to ever had to visit Florida, that would be my FIRST stop.
Born Theodore Seuss Geisel and used the pen name of Dr Seuss for all his writings. He was born on the 2nd March 1904 and today the 2nd March has become a celebration by all the Dr Seuss fans.
Its starts out as a child, reading the "Cat in the Hat" and laughing at the silly but wise words from the characters he created. Then it transpires into inspirational words as we grow us as many a day remembering the famous quotes like "Today you are you, thats truer than true" - which is my absolute favourte.
In fact when my youngest daughter is feeling blue, that is the saying I recite to her and it almost rids her of her blue moments.
This morning I have decided to use the following quote:
"If you never did you should. These things are fun and fun is good" ~ Dr Seuss
Together with a photo of an almost Horton elephant that I found in Luxembourg, I leave you with another great message from Dr Seuss:
"And when things start to happen
Dont worry. Dont stew.
You just go right along
You'll start happening too!"
Share with us your favourite Dr Seuss quote.
Good Morning and Happy August

The first line that comes to mind? I do not like green eggs and ham!

I think there is a lot of philosophical ideas in that quote - thats why I love it so - you can interpret it in any way you like. I do as such: I should try all the things that I can do (at my age) because I will only know if they are fun or not by trying them. Most times the things we dont try and the regrets in life.

I have seen the books I think my daughter had them many moons ago. I could not tell you anything about them although I remember reading them with her!
