A rainy day but a fun one.
After some creative writing and job searching I went to the community centre where for this week alone this month, someone other than me was booked to entertain us.
There was a nice Summer Afternoon tea.
The entertainment came from the Garstang Ukulele Group, fifteen players in a veritable little orchestra who played a variety of songs ranging from the work of the Proclaimers to the theme from Napoleonic war drama, Sharpe. All great fun in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Not to be confused with Led Zeppelin or Gary Moore or The Mission, all of whom did original "Over the Hills and Far Away" songs.
