Who are the teachers here on myLot?

I am beginning to notice posts from teachers. I love it! I teach elementary and middle school music in a Christian international school in Tokyo. We teachers start on Aug. 21 and kids start on the 24th.
If you're a teacher, or related to one, drop by and say hi right here! When do you start or have you already? Let's encourage one another! (I know that in some parts of the world this is not the beginning of the school year!)

@TiarasOceanView One of my good Japanese friends owns three salons and taught in them for years. She is now over 70 and enjoying retirement, but she still oversees the salons' welfare.

I used to teach foreign language to elementary student in Thailand. I still teach ESL to South Koreans these days but not on a full time anymore.
Ingrid, I think is a Clinical Instructor.

That's when we started when I was a kid. Also, Japanese schools start back after their summer break (not a new school year) on Sept. 1.

Hi Denise, I thought you were a teacher at first but now I have just confirmed you're a teacher. Me too! I'm teaching Arts subject although it's not my specialization, here in our place because of the lack of teachers, we are required to teach any subject, so I'm teaching Arts, Music, History and English classes.

Hey, if you ever need help with Music, that's my specialty. Leave a comment on any of my discussions or send me a private message (under your profile pic at the far left, two down). Don't ask me about Arts, History or English though! Can't help you there!
