Wow. . . A First

There are many things in life that I never imagined or could think of that are possible to ever happen to me. Especially when it involves something that I enjoy. Just the other day after I got home from a hot, humid day at work. I went straight to the mini beer fridge and got a really nice cold bottle of beer, a Fat Tire beer. The first gulp went down smooth and tasty that it warranted another drink for the taste buds. Then as the second swig was easing its way into my system, thats when it happened- BRAIN FREEZE ! Once that sensation was felt under the skull, my head slowly turned to the side at an angle with my face tightening a little causing one eye to squint and the other to do a "peoples eyebrow" while the eye tried not to bulge out. I've had it happen with a tall glass of water with artic cold ice cubes, l've even had it happen to me the old fashioned way with ice cream, but I never thought I would get brain freeze from a cold beer. The positive lesson I learned is that no matter how long you do the life thing, there will always be a first of some kind around the corner waiting to surprise you. The negative lesson- . . . BEER !
