Monkey Business, Well, The Idea Of It!

When I woke up this morning I looked into "Ban" Yes, the stuffed Gorilla in the pic with this discussion, Ban is short for Banana, yes I named him banana. Not very imaginative of me, but he was a gift from a friend on my 35th Birthday (can't believe that is 5 years ago) and I had had a few cocktails when I named him, so "Ban" he is! And no, it is not my birthday, I am just reminiscing while trying to get to the whole point of this discussion 
.
I looked at "Ban" and thought monkey business! Yes, monkey business as in being mischievous! It is Saturday after all. But, alas, the closest I got to monkey business today was when I was standing high up off the ground on my kitchen counters so I could clean the tops of my kitchen cupboards once again!
I guess being high up on those counters gave me a view that a monkey sitting in a tree would have? Okay, I am grasping at straws with that, but I just wanted to fool around a little on a Saturday, bah humbug. At least I have sparkling kitchen cupboards! And I got a workout! This is how I will view cleaning my home from now on, thanks to a Facebook quote I saw...
"My house isn't messy. It's a carefully designed obstacle course to keep me fit. I am the next Ninja Warrior."
Have a good Saturday every one, I am off to make flap jacks, and I will be smothering them in maple syrup!

@LadyDuck , definitely! And absolutely it could make you sweat, and that is loss of fluids, which, you see, could be bad for your health, so, you see, it can be said that you're actually taking good care of your health by waiting till it is cooler

@moffittjc , my bad! You said tequila equals wild...then monkey business....so yes...I assumed tequila. Uh, that tomato juice, hot sauce and aspirin...could help for that limited edition oatmeal cream stout...which, by the way....how brave were you to drink that?! How are you feeling now? Any better?

@bluesa Oh, I'm doing great now. I had to be at work at 6:00 AM today to set up for a tournament we're running all weekend at work. I've been chugging water all day, so I feel great now. Tired, but no headache!

That's a great quote to remember although I doubt I will believe it every time- haha! I'm more interested in your flap jacks because I love them and the maple syrup on top--ha!

Flapjacks on a Saturday with maple syrup, a clean cupboard, exercise, a powerful gorilla for inspiration, ninjas running obstacle courses now that is one crazy Saturday!
